Fremantle have made three changes for their clash with Gold Coast on Saturday afternoon at Metricon Stadium.

Wingman Ed Langdon has been recalled, alongside ruckman Zac Clarke and debutant Shane Yarran.

Michael Barlow and Hayden Ballantyne will miss through injuries sustained against the Cats, while Matthew Pavlich is resting ahead of his 350th match next Sunday.

Yarran to debut

After battling with injury since last year’s WAFL Grand Final, Yarran said he was excited to finally play AFL football.

“You work hard with your teammates getting through preseason so it’ll be good to jump out with [the team],” he said.

“It means a lot to me.”

Langdon has shown promising signs in seven games this season across the wing and half-forward, but suffered a minor hamstring strain against the Demons a fortnight ago.

Match preview v Gold Coast

In that match, the 20-year-old gathered 16 possessions and five marks, and was polished with his disposal.

Clarke returns to the side after competing strongly in the ruck for Peel, and will work in tandem with Jon Griffin to counter Suns rucking duo Tom Nicholls and Peter Wright.

Josh Deluca will travel with the side as an emergency, while Darcy Tucker and Matt de Boer are also listed as emergencies.
