Fremantle women’s senior coach Michelle Cowan will coach Melbourne in the fourth annual Women’s All-Star match against the Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval on September 3.

Cowan has led the Demons in each exhibition match since the concept was introduced in 2013.

Fremantle marquee player Kara Donnellan will line up for Melbourne after finishing fourth in the Dhara Kerr Medal for the WAWFL fairest and best on Monday night.

Donnellan is one of eight Western Australian players to have been selected for the match.

Others include Dhara Kerr Medal joint winner Emma King (Western Bulldogs, Collingwood marquee player), Brianna Green (Melbourne), who finished second in the WAWFL fairest and best, Emma Swanson (Melbourne, GWS marquee player), Ebony Antinio (Melbourne), Sabrina Frederic-Traub (Melbourne, Brisbane marquee player), Hayley Miller (Melbourne) and Chelsea Randall (Melbourne, Adelaide marquee player).

The winning team will be awarded the Hampson-Hardeman Cup.
