What are you looking forward to about coming to the Freo Dockers?

I am obviously very excited. It’s sort of a numbing feeling and it hasn’t really sunk in yet.  Especially being part of the Dockers, a club I have supported since I was born, and the whole family has.

Looking forward to getting to the club and giving everything I have got.  Meeting all the boys and earning some respect off them again. It’s like starting again when you are first drafted. I can’t wait to earn respect from everyone and give everything I have got and have a real crack next year.

So it means a lot to you, growing up as a Fremantle Dockers supporter?

It means heaps. A bit of a fun fact I was actually born on Freo’s first ever game, April 1, 1995. I wouldn’t say it’s fate, but it’s pretty funny.

Trade Wrap: 11 October

What can you bring to the Freo line up?

I hope to bring some intensity. I like to fly for the footy, crunch packs, chase and tackle and keep some forward pressure. Hopefully I can bring those things and play my role. I’d be rapt.

After standing out of the game for a year, you’d be pretty keen to get back out there?

It has been a long year watching footy every week, but I couldn’t be more excited to get back on the list and be part of the Fremantle Dockers and give it a real crack next year and give it everything I have got.

Who did you share the news with first?

I shared it with mum, dad and my sister who is at home studying for exams. I told her first, she was rapt and I gave her a bit of a hug. They are all rapt. I am looking forward to it.
