Nat Fyfe is set to captain his first game for Fremantle in Sunday’s Starlight Purple Haze Game, proudly supported by Fremantle Ports.

The game against Geelong will also be Fyfe’s first AFL game in 336 days, after being named in the TABtouch squad of 25.

After helping the Peel Thunder to a 17-point-win over East Perth last Saturday night, Hayden Crozier, Tommy Sheridan, Nick Suban and Matt Taberner have all been included in the squad.

Crozier, Sheridan, Suban and Taberner all come into the side that defeated Carlton in Fremantle’s final JLT Series game on 10 March, while the injured Hayden Ballantyne makes way alongside first-year players Griffin Logue and Sean Darcy.

Michael Johnson, who played the most minutes for Fremantle in the JLT Community Series, is also returning after sustaining a season-ending injury in the same game as Fyfe, in round five of the 2016 season.

Cam McCarthy, Bradley Hill, Joel Hamling and Shane Kersten also make up the initial squad of 25, with the four new signings from the 2016 NAB AFL Trade Period set to make their Fremantle debut.

The 25-man squad will be narrowed to the final 22 on Friday, with the team for Fremantle's 500th AFL game confirmed on fremantlefc.com.au at 2pm, AWST.

Tickets are still available for Sunday's match through ticketmaster.com.au or by calling 1300 135 915.
