It was an all-important training session on Thursday morning at Victor George Kailis Oval, with many players fighting for spots ahead of team selection in the afternoon.

The session started with stretching and players running through kicking drills from various distances and quick handballs in groups of three.

The group then moved on to ground ball skills, moving up to one-on-one and gathering under pressure.

Ross Lyon took centre stage as the team moved into match simulation work, starting out in their respective forward, midfield and defensive groups and transitioning into working the ball from end to end.
