Stephen Hill has received top votes in the 2017 Shadforth Financial Group AFLCA Champion Player of the Year for round three.

Hill was among Freo’s best in their 16-point win against the Western Bulldogs with 33 disposals, with the coaches awarding him a 10 out of a possible 10 votes.

The midfielder was instrumental when the game was in the balance, collecting 12-last-quarter possessions and linking up with his brother Bradley (25 disposals) as Fremantle piled on five goals to none to win the game against the reigning premiers.

Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe led through the midfield with 33 touches as well and polled six votes.
