Neale polls top votes in coaches’ award

Lachie Neale kicked a career-best four goals on Saturday. Four goals and a hand in another saw Lachie Neale one of Fremantle's best in the win over Melbourne

Lachie Neale has received top votes in the 2017 Shadforth Financial Group AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year for round four, with the coaches awarding him 10 out of a possible 10 votes.

Neale was instrumental in Freo’s two-point win against Melbourne at the MCG on Saturday with 22 disposals, six tackles and a career-best four goals.

David Mundy who was also among Freo’s best with 23 touches, seven tackles and three goals, polled seven votes.
