Freo utility Brady Grey could miss just two rounds of football due to his hamstring injury, according to high performance manager Jason Weber.

Grey came off in the opening term of Fremantle’s clash with Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday.

“Brady had a low-grade hamstring injury going for a ground ball,” Weber said.

“So he’ll probably be 2-3 weeks.”

Freo’s round 13 bye comes at a good time for Aaron Sandilands, Ed Langdon and Hayden Ballantyne, with the trio a test for the round 14 clash with Geelong.

“Aaron’s up and running and doing a really good job,” Weber said.

“With the bye coming up he’ll get a bit more treatment and train over the break and we’re very hopeful we’ll get him up for the first game back."

“Ed’s been challenged a little bit by a PCL injury he had to his knee a few weeks ago.

“He’s still working through that and much like Aaron, a bit of treatment and good training over the break we’re hopeful to see him on the way back.”

Weber added that Ballantyne recommenced full training with the side on Tuesday.

“Hayden’s trained fully with the team today and ran out the session beyond that,” Weber said.

We’re confident he’ll be ticked off to be available for selection on our return from the bye.”
