Do you think you have what it takes to be an AFLW player?
The Fremantle Dockers are conducting two AFLW talent search days, which are designed to give female athletes an opportunity to test their football skills and abilities.
Athletes must be over the age of 18 as of 1 January 2018.
Talent Search Day 1 – Rookie list eligible athletes
The first talent search day will be held for those who have the potential to be offered a position on the Fremantle Dockers AFLW rookie list in 2018.
Athletes who are currently active in other sports are encouraged to nominate for this talent search day.
Please note athletes must not have played AFL or been involved in a high performance AFL program in the three years up to 1 April 2017.
DATE: Saturday 29 July
TIME: 1pm – 4pm
LOCATION: Victor George Kailis Oval, Cockburn Central
Nominations will open via fremantlefc.com.au from 9am Thursday 6 July until 5pm Tuesday 18 July.
Talent Search Day 2 – Draft eligible athletes
The second talent search day will be held for future AFLW players who wish to nominate for the 2018 AFLW draft.
DATE: Saturday 9 September
TIME: 1pm – 4pm
LOCATION: Victor George Kailis Oval, Cockburn Central
Nominations will open via fremantlefc.com.au from 9am Tuesday 15 August until 5pm Friday 25 August.
Successful athletes will receive an email confirmation once the nomination process has closed.
Only those who have received an email will be eligible to participate in testing.
