Fremantle has made an update to their squad of 25 for Sunday’s clash against North Melbourne, with defender Lee Spurr omitted with a calf injury.

Ruckman Jon Griffin has come in to replace Spurr in the squad of 25. 

Griffin joins Stephen Hill, Connor Blakely, Ryan Nyhuis, Josh Deluca and Shane Kersten as Freo's inclusions into the squad of 25.

Spurr joins Cam McCarthy (suspended) and Aaron Sandilands (hamstring) as Fremantle's omissions.

Meanwhile, North Melbourne named six inclusions to their squad of 25 on Thursday afternoon.

Ben Cunnington returns after a suspension and is joined by Trent Dumont, Daniel Nielson, Cameron Zurhaar, Braydon Preuss and Jy Simpkin.

Jamie Macmillan (finger), Mason Wood (calf) and Jarrad Waite (calf) are the Kangaroos omissions.

The final 22 will be announced on fremantlefc.com.au at 3pm on Friday.
