Joel Hamling and Brady Grey are expected to recover from their injury concerns during the coming week and will be available for selection for Sunday’s clash with West Coast, according to high performance manager Jason Weber.

The pair are expected to be available despite spending periods off the ground for treatment during last week’s clash with North Melbourne.

“Joel was pretty sore this morning, he took a bit of contact to his lower back and back of his pelvis,” Weber said.

“He’ll be a bit slow at training this week, but we expect him to be fine and up and going for the end of the week.

“Brady has some incidents during the game that reduced the power in his shoulder, but he’s back up and fine today and has presented well.

“He had a good run this morning and we anticipate him to be in full training tomorrow.”

Spurr, who was a late withdrawal from Fremantle’s squad with a calf injury, is listed as a test on Freo’s injury list alongside midfielder David Mundy.

Mundy may still need time to recover from illness, according to Weber, with the midfielder listed as a test after he was also a late withdrawal against North Melbourne.

“David was quite crook on the weekend, unfortunately,” Weber said.

“He was a late out, we gave him every opportunity. He’s back up and going this week and we anticipate him to be in training by the end of the week.”

After injuring his hamstring in the second quarter against the Kangaroos, Tommy Sheridan is expected to miss at least three games.

“We anticipate Tommy will be about three weeks depending on the KPIs associated with that injury,” Weber said.

“It’s a reasonable grade hamstring injury, but we expect him to come up well and be back in three weeks.”

Harley Bennell continues to build towards his return to football. Bennell is listed as a test and could play his first game in more than a year when Peel take on East Perth on Saturday at Leederville Oval.

"Harley’s got to get through training this week and we anticipate him being available for match committee," Weber said.
