Harley Bennell made his return to football for Peel on Saturday.

Peel Thunder defeated East Perth at Leederville Oval by 28 points on Saturday afternoon.  

Peel Thunder 12.7 (79) def. East Perth 7.9 (51)

Harley Bennell had 12 touches and kicked a goal in his first match in 16 months after battling repeated calf issues.

Forward Matt Taberner backed up his six-goal performance from last week with five goals, 27 touches and 10 marks in Peel's win. 

Cam Sutcliffe finished the day with 31 touches and 10 tackles, while Jon Griffin had 45 hit-outs. 

Peel Thunder will take on ladder-leaders Subiaco next Saturday afternoon at Rushton Park.
