Peel Thunder were defeated by 46 points against Subiaco on Saturday at Rushton Park.

Ten Fremantle-listed players were in action in the league game, while Luke Strnadica featured in the reserves.

Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how the players fared.

Matt Taberner
Was really strong up forward with his lead up and his contested marking. He had five contested marks and also spent some time in the ruck. He was able to present really well and hit the scoreboard with two goals.

Danyle Pearce
Played inside mid and on the wing, he was strong around the clearances and had six clearances in total. He was good when he went to the wing with his run and was clean and composed with the ball.

Luke Ryan
Was solid in defence, with 15 kicks and nine marks while helping set up Peel on the rebound.

Brady Grey
Played as a high forward for the game. Again he was strong with his run around the contest and had seven marks while kicking two goals.

Jon Griffin
Had a good battle against Subiaco’s Lachlan Delahunty in the ruck with 43 hit outs. Jon showed strong marking ability with 11 marks while following up well around the contest.

Sam Collins
Played down back and had a good battle with Subiaco’s Ben Sokol. Again Sam was good with his use and helped set up our attack from defence. He ended up with six marks for the game.

Brennan Cox
Played forward and had four marks and went into the ruck to pinch-hit for periods. Brennan was good with his lead-up and his contest around the ground, ending up with five hard-ball gets.

Garrick Ibbotson
Played wing and half-back, Garrick was solid around the contest and was really good when he went back in the third quarter to help give us some extra defensive support.

Zac Dawson
Started back and went forward when we needed some extra support early in the second quarter, kicking an important goal. Again he was strong with his lead-up and his presence around the contest.

Harley Bennell
Played on restricted minutes for the second straight week. Harley played at deep forward for the majority of the game and got through well. He showed some of his ability with his movement around the contest and got through the game fine.

Luke Strnadica
