Nominations for candidates to serve a two-year term as a member-elected director of the board of the Fremantle Football Club open at 9am on Tuesday 26 September, 2017 and close at 12 noon on Tuesday 10 October, 2017.

Current member-elected director Peter Bell’s two-year term expires on 30 November, 2017.

It was Bell’s first term as a member-elected director.

The former club captain and Doig medallist has advised of his intention to seek a further term as a member-elected director.

The club is extremely proud of the fact that two members of the board of directors are elected by the club’s membership for two-year terms.

Inaugural Doig medallist and former captain Peter Mann is the second of the two member-elected representatives.

His term expires on 30 November, 2018.

If there is more than one approved nominee an online voting process will commence at 9am on Tuesday 31 October, 2017 and close at 5pm on Tuesday 21 November, 2017.

The result will be announced at the club’s Annual Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 22 November, 2017, with the successful candidate starting their two-year term on 1 December, 2017.

The ballot will be overseen by Computershare, which has conducted the club’s annual poll for a member-elected director since 2007.

Voting club members will receive all information on the election directly from the Fremantle Football Club after it is posted on or about Friday 20 October, 2017.
