The best and cheapest option is via bus or train, with free public transport included three hours pre and three hours post match with every Fremantle game-access membership.

TRAIN
Fremantle and Joondalup line passengers are able to get special event trains direct to the stadium while Armadale and Thornlie line passengers can use their regular timetable services. Passengers travelling from Midland can get on at East Perth and walk across the Windan Bridge or continue to the city and change to a Stadium Shuttle.

Mandurah line passengers can change at Perth Underground to catch the Stadium Shuttle. People with wheelchairs and prams can utilise one of the 11 lifts at Perth Stadium station.

BUS
Optus Stadium has 22 bus stands, which have dedicated disabled access and the ability to move 8000 passengers after an event.

There are eight limited-stop routes that will operate along key corridors.

Route 650 – Karrinyup Bus Station
Route 652 – Mirrabooka Bus Station
Route 653 – Morley Bus Station
Route 654 – Ellenbrook Town Centre
Route 656 – Canning Vale
Route 657 – Curtin University Bus Station
Route 658 – Hamilton Hill
Route 659 – Fremantle Station
Route 661 – Perth CBD Shuttle

To accommodate the opening of the Matagarup Bridge, the Public Transport Authority has announced a change to bus routes.

Bus route 661 will now take a modified circular route via Wellington Street, Milligan Street, and Adelaide/St Georges Terraces to East Perth.

The route will no longer enter Elizabeth Quay Bus Station, so passengers will need to board from St Georges Terrace (Stops 10116 and 10119).

The PTA also confirmed the following changes to a number of departure stands for existing bus routes including;

Route 650 (Karrinyup) will now depart from stands 18 - 22
Route 654 (Ellenbrook Town Centre) will now depart from stands 12 and 13, on the west side of Perth Stadium Bus Station
Route 656 (Canning Vale) will now depart from stands 10 and 11
Route 657(Curtin University) will now depart from stands 8 and 9.
