Saturday’s clash between Fremantle and the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium has been given a new start time. 

Bouncedown has been pushed back five minutes to 6.15pm to accommodate the Len Hall Tribute Game commemoration ceremony.

The 23rd annual Len Hall Tribute Game will honour the 100th anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War I in November, 1918.

Members and supporters are urged to get to their seats early, with the veterans march commencing at 5.35pm and the observance ceremony commencing at 6.05pm – consisting of recitation of the Ode, minute’s silence and the playing of the Last Post and National Anthem.

The Len Hall Tribute Game is named in honour of Western Australia’s last Gallipoli veteran Len Hall, 1897-1999, a member of the 10th Light Horse Regiment and one of the last men to leave Gallipoli.
