Peel Thunder defeated Claremont by 11-points on Saturday at Claremont Oval.

Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how the 10 Fremantle-listed players fared in the game.

Danyle Pearce
Came back with a really good attitude and played some good football as an inside mid for the game. He had 11 ground ball gets, five clearances and was composed with the ball to help start a lot of Peel’s scoring entries.

Ethan Hughes
Played down back for the game. Ethan had a lot of the ball with 23 possessions and performed well one-on-one. He worked hard as one of our key rebounders with seven rebound 50s.

Brandon Matera
Played forward for the majority of the game. He worked really hard for the first half with eight marks and three goals. He came off for a little bit but he was cleared to play the second half.

Hayden Ballantyne
Played as a high forward and then went on the ball in the final quarter. He was really strong around the contests with five clearances. He totalled 19 possessions and six inside 50s.

Michael Johnson
Played forward for three quarters. He was lively in the first quarter, playing a part in the first two goals. He took seven marks and when Peel were under siege late in the third and final term, he went down back and helped steady the defence.

Lloyd Meek
Played forward and in the ruck. Lloyd had 32 hitouts in a promising performance with his ruckwork and following up around the contest with three clearances.

Luke Strnadica
Like Meek, Luke played in the ruck and spent time forward. He made the most of the opportunity to spend a bit more time in the ruck, where he had 28 hitouts and took some strong contested marks up front.

Ryan Nyhuis
Played down back for the game. He played well and helped limit the impact of Claremont’s key half-forwards like Ian Richardson. He was really cool late in the game, where he took some strong marks late in the last quarter when he controlled the game to help Peel hold the lead.

Harley Bennell
Played midfield for the majority of the time he was on the field but came off in the second quarter with some calf tightness. With eight possessions from limited game time, he was showing signs of improvement and building from last week.

Griffin Logue
Played back and had an interesting duel with Tom Lee. Lee ended up kicking three goals but Griffin was able to compete well, follow up and show his strength around the contest.
