With the Doig Medal Presentation Dinner rapidly approaching, looks at which players are likely to poll well in the club’s best and fairest count at the BelleVue Ballroom at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday 6 October.

Neale’s durability at Fremantle is second only to his ability, with the midfielder once again playing every game while consistently producing elite performances.

He was was one of Freo’s finest contributors - racking up more than 30 possessions on 13 occasions and laying 93 tackles – the most of any Freo player in 2018.

The 25-year-old was given best-on-ground Brownlow votes twice by the umpires for his performances against West Coast in round 6 and Carlton in round 13.

Neale was acknowledged for his efforts at the end of season, named in the All Australian squad for the third time.
