Peel Thunder fell 45 points short of the Claremont Tigers at Bendigo Bank Stadium on Saturday.
 
Connor Blakely and Clancee Pearce each had 31 touches through the midfield, while Michael Apeness kicked five second-half goals.
 
Peel is currently one win clear of East Perth in fifth position, with a game in hand on the fourth-placed Sharks.
 
Ethan Hughes
Played half-back and was solid. He used the ball well out of defence and took some nice contested marks.
 
Ryan Nyhuis
Played well deep in defence in his first game back from injury. He used the ball well hitting his targets coming out of defensive 50.
 
Jon Griffin
Played in the ruck and forward for parts of the game. Was slow to start but had a good second half in the ruck.

Jack Hannath
Like Griffin, played forward and in ruck and was solid. Worked hard and pushed forward to take a couple of marks.
 
Nick Suban
Played in the midfield and was solid for the whole game. Worked hard inside the stoppages and got the ball moving forward.

Played in the midfield and was hard in the contest throughout the game. Surged the ball forward and had 31 touches. Good effort.
 
Josh Deluca
Played forward and in the midfield and was one of our better players. Had some good clearances and used the ball well going forward.
 
Anthony Morabito
Played wing and then went forward and kicked three goals in a good effort. Took some nice marks in the forward line and kicked well for goal.
 
Michael Apeness
Played forward and spent some time in the ruck. He had a quiet first half before taking some strong marks and kicking five goals in the second half.
 
Clancee Pearce
Played in the midfield and was one of our better players. He had 31 touches and used the ball well.
