Peel Thunder defeated East Fremantle by 15 points at Rushton Park on Good Friday. Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how the 15 Fremantle-listed players fared.

Ruckman Luke Strnadica played for Peel in the reserves, collecting 60 hitouts while laying nine tackles.

Danyle Pearce
Played on ball for the game, had 17 kicks, six clearances and performed well around the contest with 15 handballs. He was really good at helping release the outside runners and was composed in the contest.

Darcy Tucker
Played on the wing for the majority of the game with a period at half-back. He had eight marks, 28 disposals and worked hard up and down the lines. Also kicked a really important goal.

Taylin Duman
Played at half-back for the game and impressed with his roll off. He had eight marks, defended well and was very composed with the ball.

Brennan Cox
Played in defence on East Fremantle’s tall forwards. He had nine marks, including four contested and showed his strength in the contest while reading the play well.

Sam Switkowski
Played as a high forward and brought pressure on his opponents with six tackles. He had seven inside 50s and kicked two goals from his 19 possessions.

Ethan Hughes
Played in defence where he worked well with his body and was strong with his spoiling and defensive efforts. 

Shane Kersten
Played down back for the first time since joining the club. He played on East Fremantle’s higher forwards and read the ball in the air. He defended and spoiled well and used the ball to help set us up.

Ryan Nyhuis
Ryan performed well with his defensive efforts and had 13 disposals. He played in the half-back role and helped shut down some of East Fremantle’s key half-forwards in the second half. 

Brady Grey
Played as a high forward and went on the ball in the final term, helping turn the game with three clearances. He kicked two important goals during the first three quarters and his pressure was important with five tackles. 

Lloyd Meek
Played the majority of the game as a forward and also worked around the ruck. His tackling and work in the contest was good, with five tackles and two clearances.

Sean Darcy
Spent most of the game in the ruck opposed to East Fremantle’s Jon Griffin, which was a tight battle. He finished with 36 hitouts and was solid with his tap-work around the contest.

Cam Sutcliffe
Came off just before half time with concussion. Cam had nine possessions and put in a good effort at half-back before he was ruled out of the game.

Michael Apeness
Played forward and had eight possessions and four marks. Michael got himself into some really good positions but missed a few opportunities that he had taken the previous week.

Hugh Dixon
Hugh came off injured in the third quarter. He got into some good positions during the game but was unable to impact any further due to his ankle injury. 

Scott Jones
Played as a forward and as the backup ruckman. He led up well at the ball but didn’t have the same impact as previous weeks but followed up around the contest well.
