Triple premiership player Bradley Hill has labelled the atmosphere at Fremantle’s first game at Optus Stadium as “one of the loudest games I have ever played in”.

Speaking ahead of this Saturday’s away game at Optus Stadium, Hill urged members and fans to get on board and purchase tickets to the game against Gold Coast to help cheer on the team.

“They should come out, the stadium is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible,” Hill said.

“Hopefully we can kick another 100 points for them and make it even better for the supporters.

“We really need them to get there this weekend and cheer us on.”

When asked about the importance of the club being able to secure an extra game at Optus Stadium this season, Hill highlighted the travel factor as significant.

“We do travel every second week, so to get an away game at home is good,” he said.

“It’s a bonus we get to stay at home and train, and we don’t have to travel five hours.”

Hill, who landed awkwardly on his knee during the round 2 win over Essendon, was confident he would get to take part in this weekend’s Starlight Purple Haze game against the Suns

“It was a bit sore on the day,” he said.

“When I got up and started running it loosened up a bit and I am feeling fine.

“I just need to get through training but I want to be a part of the Purple Haze game for Starlight this week and I will do everything possible to play.”
