Tommy Sheridan will lace up at the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final as Freo’s representative in the Gatorade AFL Grand Final Sprint. 

Sheridan will contest a heat held prior to the game at 12:15pm (EST) with bouncedown for the clash between Adelaide and Richmond at 2:30pm (EST).

If Sheridan makes the final, he will run at approximately 3:40pm (EST) during half time. 

The speedy defender will look to build on Darcy Tucker’s impressive effort in 2016, qualifying for the final and finishing fifth behinJames Shirley, a suburban footballer who earned a start in the race.

If Sheridan wins, he will be the first Fremantle player to do so since James Walker’s back-to-back victories in 2003 and 2004.
