Peel defeated East Fremantle by 36 points on Saturday at East Fremantle oval. 

Nine Fremantle-listed players were in action for the Thunder on the day.

Senior development coach Marc Webb assesses their performance.

Ethan Hughes
Had a lot of the ball with 18 kicks and was really strong with his roll off. He took nine marks and three really strong contested marks.
Ethan worked well in defence and helped set up some strong attacks from half back.

Garrick Ibbotson
Playing on the wing for the game, Garrick was really strong around the clearances with four clearances and 15 kicks. He used the ball well, was strong around the contest and ran well.

Ryan Nyhuis
Featured at half back playing on Andrew Stephen, keeping him goalless and to 10 possessions. It was another solid performance in defence for Ryan with his one-on-one contests.

Taylin Duman
Played on the wing and was strong with his run both offensive and defensively. Taylin had 10 marks for the game and spread the ball well, ending up with two shots on goal.

Danyle Pearce
Played the majority of the game as a forward. Danyle worked hard up and down the ground and had eight marks, coming off late in the third quarter with a calf injury.

Matt Taberner
Played forward and in the ruck, Matt had 15 hitouts and ended up with two goals in a tough battle with East Fremantle back Matthew Jupp. He was solid with his work-rate up the ground and ended up with eight marks. He was strong around the contest with his ball-up ruck work.

Luke Strnadica
Played in the ruck and a little bit up forward, Luke had 25 hitouts and 17 possessions which as a good return for him. He was really good down the line, had four contested marks and was a strong presence when we needed him.

Sam Collins
Sam was strong in defence again and really good one-on-one. He had two contested marks and was really strong in the air, helping to stop East Fremantle’s attacks.

Zac Dawson
Played forward for the game, ending up with two goals and led at the ball really well. He was strong around the ground ball yet again and also attacked the ball fiercely.
