A number of Freo players put their hand up for selection consideration after solid performances for Peel Thunder in the WAFL.

These are some of the players whose performances have put them in the mix for a round 12 appearance against Brisbane on Saturday.

Matt de Boer

The tough, inside midfielder put forward another strong performance against Subiaco on Sunday, finishing with 36 disposals and eight tackles. De Boer also pushed forward and pleased senior development/assistant coach Peter Sumich with his ball use and four inside 50s against the Lions.

Brady Grey

Grey continued to display his pressuring ability at the WAFL level. The young defensive-midfielder finished with 22 touches and a team-high 11 tackles in the four point win. Grey has averaged nearly seven tackles a game for Peel Thunder so far in 2016, but also had an attacking presence against the Lions with four inside 50s.

Zac Clarke

Clarke was influential in the four point win against Subiaco, both as a ruckman and forward. The Freo big man finished with 17 disposals and 37 hit outs against the Lions and also kicked a goal in the limited time he spent in the forward line.

Clancee Pearce

Pearce has missed the past two games due to concussion but could be a chance to play against Brisbane on Saturday. He would be a handy addition for Saturday’s game as he has averaged 19 disposals in six career games against the Lions.

Anthony Morabito

Morabito has been in good form for Peel in recent weeks and was a solid contributor in Sunday’s win. The powerful running defender had 15 disposals off halfback and delivered the ball inside 50 on two occasions.  Morabito’s ability to intercept mark across halfback was also a positive, according to Peter Sumich.

Ed Langdon

Landgon responded well after being omitted from the Freo side that defeated Essendon by 79 points on Saturday night. The pacey midfielder finished with 19 touches and a goal in the win against Subiaco and his run and spread was a positive throughout the game.
