Peel Thunder secured a spot in the finals after their 36-point victory over East Perth at Medibank Stadium on Saturday.
 
Matt de Boer finished with a game high 39 touches, while Tendai Mzungu was best on ground with 35 disposals and a goal.
 
The win pushed Peel two wins clear of fifth placed East Perth and kept their chances of a home final alive.

Jon Griffin
Started well and had a good impact around the ground with his follow up and tackling pressure. He provided a target up forward and finished the game with two goals.
 
Jack Hannath
In one of his better performances, Hannath finished with six clearances, two goals and he was back to his best with his work rate and competitiveness.
 
Matt Taberner
Came back with a good attitude and had a positive impact up forward. His 23 touches, eight marks and two goals influenced the end result.
 
Connor Blakely
Had the run with role on Patrick McGinnity and kept him to only eight touches whilst collecting 22 of his own possessions. He displayed real discipline to the role and spent some time in the defensive half. His skill execution was also very good and laid six tackles for the day.
 
Josh Deluca
Ran hard all day and with his defensive spread and work rate to apply pressure was again good. He showed real dash from turnovers and targeted Hannath in the forward 50 for a goal.
 
Tendai Mzungu
He played on the wing, and came out on top over his direct opponent in West Coast’s Lewis Jetta, finishing the day with 35 disposals and a goal. He was a defensive asset, pushing back hard to outnumber East Perth in the back half, and his tackling pressure was a big bonus to the team.
 
Matt de Boer
He was strong at the contest all day and provided some instructional leadership in and around stoppages. He finished with a game high 39 disposals and had nine clearances to his name.
 
Clancee Pearce
Played on the opposite wing to Mzungu all day and played his role well. He was effective by foot and had four inside 50s for the day.
 
Nick Suban
He provided strong run off the halfback and finished the game with 20 disposals and nine marks.
 
Anthony Morabito
Playing in the defensive half he finished the game with 26 disposals and five marks. He was composed throughout the day, and his defensive pressure was a much needed asset to the team.
 
Ryan Nyhuis
In just his second game back from injury, Nyhuis finished with 14 disposals and six marks. His workrate and run and carry out of defence was pivotal to the team’s success.
