After hundreds of entries the club is happy to announce the lucky winners of the 'Fly the Flag and you could be flying to the AFL GF' competition.

Located 1,546kms from Fremantle, a 'GO FREO' sign is proudly displayed at Anchovy Flats on Dampier Highway, Karratha.

The sign was made by Nathan Ryan, who spent two nights in mate's shed putting it together.

Nathan's wife Belinda posted the photo on her Instagram account and was over joyed after finding out they would be heading to the AFL Grand Final thanks to Virgin Australia.

"Nathan's a 21-year member, and we are country members who haven't been able to make it to a game this season," Belinda said.

"We wanted to go to the Grand Final this year but just couldn’t afford to go, so this is great."

Tune into Channel 7 from 6pm on Tuesday night to watch the full story and hear from Belinda and Nathan Ryan.

Regional viewers can tune into GWN at 5.30pm.
