Both sides have had big pre-seasons and will be desperate to improve on top six finishes in 2012.

All over the field there will be some tantalising match-up possibilities.

Will Stephen Hill be reunited with his usual Eagles’ opponent, Scott Selwood, who won West Coast’s best and fairest last year?

Who will Ross Lyon send Ryan Crowley to? Perhaps it will be Selwood himself, who proved to be a major ball-winner last season.

The Eagles will also need an answer for Matthew Pavlich, who torched our cross-town rivals for eight goals in Freo’s big derby win at the end of 2012.

The ruck will also be interesting, with Aaron Sandilands unavailable to face a potential match-up against Dean Cox and Nic Naitainui.

In Sandi’s absence, the onus could fall on Jon Griffin and Zac Clarke to try and cut West Coast’s twin towers down.

Tickets for this massive showdown go on sale to the general public Wednesday 13 March at 9am (WST).

Make sure you secure your seat and join the Fremantle Dockers as they set sail for season 2013.
