If you haven’t already heard Booce’s story, it’s a bit of an adventure, but rest assured it has a happy ending.

Booce’s owner Cliffy was in West Perth when he got out of his car to collect some sheet metal.

He left Booce to look after the car before walking around the gate to get the sheet metal.

When he returned, his car was missing along with Booce.

After much media attention and searching high and low, Booce was reunited with Cliffy last week after a couple found him on the roadside in Thornlie.

Cliffy, who is Freo member himself, said that after looking all weekend for Booce he didn’t think he would find him.

“It was crazy, I really didn’t think we would see him again,” Cliffy said.

“We’re so happy he’s home.”

Cliffy said he knew from a young age that Booce was a Freo fan.

“When we first brought him home, we had a few toys for him. Out of about 30 of them, the first one he picked out was a Freo bone,” Cliffy said.

The merchandise in the Purple Paws pack was what made Cliffy look into purchasing one for Booce.

“I initially saw the water bowl in the pack and thought that was a great idea”

“But I do think it’s just cool Booce can be a member too.”

“He got a little sister yesterday, who we also signed up, so everyone’s a member now!”
