Freo opened their doors for Wednesday's training session and the fans turned up in droves!

Approximately 1,500 people were in attendance for Freo's first session of the week as Freo prepared to take on the West Coast Eagles in the Carlton Draught Derby on Sunday at Domain Stadium.

Fans arrived early and were packed around the perimeter of Victor George Kailis Oval before the players had their boots on.

Freo's younger players were out on the ground first and enjoyed their warm up in front of the fans.

Listed as a test for this week, both David Mundy and Lee Spurr were out for the session.

Michael Walters and Hayden Ballantyne enjoyed a bit of kick to kick.

We weren't exaggerating when we said there were fans everywhere!

Nat Fyfe was his usual self, taking some strong marks.

He's been everywhere on the ground at games, and the same is true at training for Michael Walters.

Lee Spurr ran laps for some of the session as part of his recovery process from a calf injury.

Sean Darcy worked on his contested marking with development coach Marc Webb.

The fans were excited about meeting their favourite players.

With training over, the signing got underway!
