Michael demonstrated a strong work rate and running patterns to consistently get to the contest and either mark or bring it to ground. He took six marks, four of those being contested, with one strong mark resulting in a set-shot goal. He continues to play with great effort.

Jack Hannath18 disposals (15 kicks, 3 handballs), 7 marks, 11 hitouts, 1 goal
Jack rotated through the ruck with Jonathon Griffin and also played forward. He showed good contested marking, taking four, and he improved the timing of his jumping in contests and his ball handling. Around ruck contests he controlled the space and showed good touch with his hitouts to advantage and showed a good work rate over the four quarters.

Craig Moller 14 disposals (5 kicks, 9 handballs), 3 goals
Craig played as a key forward all game, finishing as the team’s leading goal kicker with three. He reacted quickly and was able to find space up forward. He also chased and pressured defensively, with one passage of play resulting in a turnover. Not only did he hit the scoreboard, he was involved in a number of plays that created goal scoring opportunities.

Jonathon Griffin 10 disposals (3 kicks, 7 handballs), 30 hitouts
In his third week back, Jon played in the ruck, rotating forward with Jack Hannath. He controlled a large number of the hitouts and he was strong over the ball in ground ball contests. We were happy with his ball handling and his ability to fight and hold the ball in.

Tom Vandeleur 14 disposals (8 kicks, 6 handballs), 4 marks
Tom played defence in the first half and then moved into the forward line in the second half. He showed signs of his versatility as a forward with a strong hit-up lead and also quick reaction playing in front. He also showed defensively that he was able to roll off to support when needed. Tom continues to work on his ball use and composure.
