As we've come to expect with Matt he was strong with one on one contest at ground level.ormers were Matt de Boer, who had a brilliant match against his former WAFL club.

Sam Menegola
17 disposals (10 kicks, 7 handballs), 3 marks, 7 tackles, 4 inside 50's
Played on the wing for the first quarter and then tagged Tom Ledger, who had been influential in the first quarter. He limited Ledger's clearance work and demonstrated some strong bodyline on the ball and was composed with his ball use. Overall a productive game from Sam.

Tommy Sheridan

Played inside mid and flipped to the wing at times. He was tagged by Sam Fong and was strong inside the contest with 12 clearances and he had four quality inside 50 kicks. His work rate was excellent under a strong tag and kicked a very important goal in the last quarter from a forward 50 stoppage.

Jack Hannath
7 disposals (5 kicks, 2 handballs) 4 marks, 15 hit outs,
Jack played forward and rotated in the ruck with Griffin. A positive for the day was around boundary throw-ins, where he held his own against Seaby and Andrews. He had some strong bodywork in the fourth quarter to win some important hitouts and a lot of his hitouts went to advantage through strong control.

Michael Wood

Played forward and had a purple patch in the second quarter kicking four goals, three through marks on the lead and one from a strong contested mark. He showed some excellent running patterns with his release forward and was really clean with his skills, hitting teammates on the lead. Had high running numbers in regards to sprint distance. It was a really positive performance from Michael.

Kepler Bradley
11 disposals (7 kicks, 7 handballs) 7 marks
Played as a forward and provided a strong target inside forward 50. He connected really well with with Michael Wood to create space for each other. Ended up taking seven marks and kicked a goal. He constantly absorbed the plus one but unfortunately injured his hamstring in the third quarter. He has shown some strong leadership.

Jonathon Griffin
17 disposals (6 kicks, 11 handballs), 38 hitouts
Played ruck and rotated deep forward with Jack Hannath. He had his best game for hitouts to advantage. Took on Seaby and Andrews in the ruck and was the leading hitout winner on the ground to go with his 18 possessions and four clearances. Jon's ground level follow-up after contests was strong.

Tom Vandeleur
13 disposals (8 kicks, 5 handballs),
Tom played in defence where he had a few good efforts during the day. One in particular was a full chested tackle followed by a smother in the fourth quarter when the game was on the line. He will continue to work on his defensive starting points and build on his game.

Jacob Ballard
33 disposals (17 kicks, 16 handballs), 5 marks, 6 inside 50'
Played inside mid with periods on the wing and as a high forward. He was strong again around the clearances and his ground ball was first rate with seven in total. He has demonstrated throughout the year that his bodywork is getting better around stoppages and he's a real competitor.

Craig Moller
3 disposals (2 kicks, 1 handball)
Played forward for the game and worked hard to break to space on turnover. He showed some good speed to get out goal side. His numbers from a statistical point of view were low, so we're looking at Craig having more of an impact on the game.

Max Duffy
10 disposals (6 kicks, 4 handballs), 4 marks, 2 goals
Played forward opposed to John Williams. He ran some strong leading patterns and demonstrated good effort to get from contest to contest and found space to mark inside 50 on two occasions. Kicked two goals, one long on the run from 50m and a set-shot. He looked very dangerous and recorded high-level run.

Alex Pearce
16 disposals (11 kicks, 5 handball), 5 marks
Had a role on small forward Jack Bradshaw and held him goalless. He looked sharp and helped organise the defence. He worked really hard and there was an excellent passage, where he worked from one end of the ground to the other to affect a strong spoil. It highlighted the consistent effort that Alex is displaying.

Tanner Smith
12 disposals (5 kicks, 7 handballs), 3 marks
Played in defence opposed to Trinity Handley, Mark Seaby and Mitch Andrews in only his second game back from injury. He got through the game well and showed several good passages where he played on his opponents shoulder and worked them under to spoil.

Hayden Crozier
20 disposals (12 kicks, 8 handballs), 3 marks, 1 goal
Played wing for the majority of the game with a small period inside in the last quarter. His use, as in previous weeks, was excellent and he showed some strong join in and was able to open up the play through good use. Structurally he executed his role and demonstrated some strong tackling efforts.

Matt Taberner
5 disposals (4 kicks, 1 handball), 3 marks
Matt played on modified game time in defence, which is part of Matt's education as a footballer. Later in the game he went forward, where he was a strong target and presented well for the team with his run and leading patterns.
