Nat Fyfe & Chris Mayne have both been nominated for the Lifebroker Mark of the Year, for their efforts in round 20 against Geelong on Saturday night.

This is Fyfe's second nomination for 2014 after he took a screamer on Geelong's Jared Rivers in round 9.

Late in the second quarter the Fremantle midfielder shocked the commentators after he was able to hold on to the ball in a pack mark deep in Freo's forward line.

Usually playing as a forward, Chris Mayne was thrown in defence after Luke McPharlin was subbed out of the game.

Mayne received his nomination for going back with the flight of the ball deep in Geelong's forward line to take this saving mark.
