Ross Lyon looks set to make changes to Fremantle’s back line, following Sunday’s 24-point loss to West Coast, where the side conceded a score of more than 100 points for just the second time this season.

Fremantle will be sweating on the availability of Alex Silvagni, who was referred to the tribunal by the Match Review Panel for contact he made to West Coast’s Jamie Cripps during the second quarter of Sunday’s clash.

Lyon said Freo have strong replacements available.

“McPharlin and Dawson are available,” he said.

“They’ll both be physically fit, it's just whether we select them or not.

“Luke is an automatic [selection] obviously, then we will look at Zac, and Johnson we will obviously get another one under his belt.”

Lyon said he had not spoken to Silvagni since the incident, but was happy for the tribunal to deal with the matter.

“Obviously we have all seen the replay, I think there is a couple of significant incidents, one from West Coast and one for us,” he said.

“I think both of them are heading to the right spot which is the tribunal.

“I always look after our players and we really respect Alex, we love him around the place, and he’s got great character.”
