Nat Fyfe has been named in the Virgin Australia AFL All Australian team for the second year in a row.

Fyfe was named in the midfield and was one of just two Fremantle players in the prestigious team, alongside David Mundy.

The prolific ball winner is among the most elite players in the league.

Mundy named in All Australian team

Fyfe has averaged 29 disposals a match and leads the league in average contested possessions (18) and clearances (8.6) per game.

The back-to-back AFLPA MVP said it was humbling to make the team.

“It’s good recognition for a long season of hard work,” Fyfe said.

“It’s not possible without a really healthy midfield and ruckman in Aaron (Sandilands).”

Where would you rather be?

Fyfe said it was an honour but his current focus was Friday’s cut-throat Preliminary Final against Hawthorn on Friday night.

“Once the season is out of the way, and hopefully we’ve achieved everything we want to, you can look back on it,” he said.

“At the moment, it’s all business.”
