Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe has polled a perfect 10 votes in the 2018 Shadforth AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award from Sunday’s clash with Richmond at the MCG.

Fyfe was the clear standout from both teams in Richmond’s 77-point win, with the 2015 Brownlow Medallist dominating the midfield, and in periods, stepping up in the ruck to rest Aaron Sandilands.

Fyfe posted career best numbers in contested possessions (26), contested marks (6) and hitouts (7) while his 12 clearances were two off his career best.
