Nat Fyfe’s thirst for team success is stronger and bigger than ever.

In a Channel Seven interview, which aired on Monday night, the back-to-back reigning Doig Medallist said he is craving improvement in 2015.

“I certainly want to be relevant and now that I have tasted some sort of success both individually and as a team I have a real thirst for more,” Fyfe said.

Fyfe polled 25 votes in last year’s Browlow but was ineligible due to suspension.

The 23-year-old was reported in round 21 for an off-the-ball strike on Hawthorn’s Jordan Lewis and earlier in the season against Gold Coast was cited for rough conduct.

Dealing with frustration is an aspect of the midfielder’s game he is looking to improve.

The Fire in Fyfe

“The reality is I’m going to get some attention when I play,” Fyfe said.

“It’s how I deal with that.

“I’ve got to learn some tricks to block it out and do my job.”

While the 2014 AFLPA MVP continues to improve on field, his off-field improvements are very visible

Fyfe has added over 20 kilograms to his frame since joining the club in 2010.

“I’ve put on a few kilos,” the 91kg midfielder said.

“I’ve put on a little bit of (weight) around the legs just to be stronger at stoppages.”

Nat Fyfe will be available for selection for this Sunday's NAB Challenge match against Sydney after returning from a hamstring injury.
