Michael Apeness 11 disposals (4 kicks, 7 handballs) 4 marks

Brady Grey 26 disposals (14 kicks, 12 handballs) 6 tackles
Brady had a run-with-role on Adam Faulkner and as in previous weeks was strong with his pressure and contested ball. He was clean inside the contest and overall had 10 tackle attempts, six being effective. He constantly worked hard to stay involved in the contest and is playing some consistent hard football inside.

Sam Menegola 31 disposals (18 kicks, 13 handballs) 9 marks
Sam started in defence opposed to Tim Geappen who had a little bit of it early but then he responded after quarter time and held him to five possessions for the rest of the day. Sam went to inside- mid in the fourth quarter where he showed some strong passages. He looked to come forward and put on good pressure and worked hard to help out in defence.

Kepler Bradley 22 disposals (17 kicks, 5 handballs) 6 marks, 1 goal
Kepler played as a key back opposed to Ricky Carey and held him to one goal. Carey kicked eight goals last time the teams played. Kepler was one of the better defenders on the ground showing strong physicality in the one-on-one contests where there were 70 defensive entries. He is showing some strong leadership.

Michael Wood 5 disposals (3 kicks, 2 handballs)
Michael started in the forward line with some time on the wing and in defence. There were a couple of passages where Michael ran hard defensively to give an extra number and have an impact around the contest.  He laid a strong tackle in the third quarter, he is just working on increasing his involvements as the weeks progress.

Tom Vandeleur 9 disposals (6 kicks, 3 handballs)
Tom played in defence opposed to Ryan Davis. He showed improvements on previous weeks in that he played close to his opponent and attempted to physically check him so he couldn’t go where he wanted to go.

Matt Taberner 17 disposals (14 kicks, 3 handballs) 8 marks, 2 goals
Matt played in the forward line and constantly presented.  He took a good mark inside forward 50 from a long hard run, which resulted in a set shot on goal. He broke as an outlet and won a 50-50 contest and kicked a goal on the run. Matt consistently demonstrates a strong work rate.

Scott Gumbleton 10 disposals (8 kicks, 2 handballs) 7 marks, 1 goal
Scott played as a deep forward in his second week back on reduced game time. He stook a strong contested mark and converted the goal in the first quarter. He displayed good forward pressure with second and third efforts to chase and tackle. He also broke well to space in the switch of play.  Scott is progressing well.
