Fremantle utility Tendai Mzungu has not been selected in the final TAB 22 for Sunday’s match against Port Adelaide at Domain Stadium.

Mzungu was named in the preliminary squad on Thursday after being listed as a test earlier in the week.

Senior coach Ross Lyon said on Friday morning that Mzungu was unlikely due to missing too much of the pre-season.

The interchange will be made up of Michael Barlow, Paul DuffieldMatt de Boer and Tommy Sheridan.

Danyle Pearce was named on a wing and will play his 50th match for Fremantle, while Nick Suban has been given the all clear to play after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Youngster Connor Blakely will have to wait a little longer to make his AFL debut after being named as an emergency alongside Hayden Crozier and Mzungu.

Fremantle takes on Port Adelaide at Domain Stadium on Easter Sunday, 5 April.
