Fremantle are proud to be working with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners to make a difference when it comes to sustainability and recycling.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is committed to leading the way towards a circular economy where 100% of their packaging is collected, reused or recycled. Together with The Coca-Cola Company, they see this as one of their most urgent sustainability priorities.

Back in 2019 CCEP Australia set a global example of how to create a new sustainable resource for the longer term, transitioning all its soft drink, water, juice, dairy and sport brands (in bottle sizes under 1L) in 100% recycled plastic bottles. That reduces the amount of new plastic by an estimated 10,000 tonnes per year in Australia! CCEP Australia also support Container Deposit Schemes across the country to reduce litter and give a can or bottle the best chance of being turned into something new, helping drive a circular economy. The vision to help their bottles become another bottle is also one step closer with CCEP’s recent announcement of the proposed plans to co-partner in a cutting-edge plastic recycling facility, right here in Australia.

Currently Fremantle collects all of its single use bottles for recycling in its partnership with Containers for Change, with all funds raised supporting the Club’s community initiatives via the Purple Hands Foundation.
