Fremantle midfielder Kiara Bowers has had her two-week suspension upheld after contesting her rough conduct charge at Thursday night's AFL Tribunal.
Bowers was charged with engaging in rough conduct in a fourth quarter incident involving the Bulldogs’ Kirsty Lamb.
The AFL match review officer classified the incident as intentional conduct, medium impact and high contact.
Bowers was represented by QC Seamus Rafferty at the tribunal, who argued that the incident should be re-considered from intentional conduct to careless conduct.
Bowers is now being questioned by barrister Andrew Woods.

Woods: Do you accept that you raised your left arm in player Lamb’s direction?
Bowers: No, I stopped to brace for impact.#AFLWTribunal #foreverfreo
However, the jury upheld the original grading set by the AFL's match review officer, to uphold the two-week suspension.
It means Bowers is slated to miss Sunday's round five clash with North Melbourne in Tasmania, and the currently scheduled fixture against Carlton in round six.
QC Seamus Rafferty: Consistent with what is happening in front of her, Bowers stops to change direction as the ball is being switched. She is reacting to what is happening with the football. She is entitled to brace for contact. #AFLWTribunal #foreverfreo
