Fremantle’s first AFL home game of 2022 at Optus Stadium is rapidly approaching, taking on St Kilda in round two on Sunday 27 March.

While government requirements are subject to change, here is everything you need to know when attending Fremantle’s 11 home games at Optus Stadium in 2022, as well as the ‘away’ RAC Derby in round three.

As it currently stands, games at Optus Stadium are restricted to 50 per cent capacity and all attendees will be required to wear a mask.

Attendees over the age of 16 will need to show proof of vaccination or a valid medical exemption upon entry.

To ensure the entry runs smoothly, attendees are encouraged to allow plenty of extra time to enter the stadium.

Please ensure you are ready to scan the QR code and show your proof of vaccination as you approach the gates to enter.

The fastest and easiest way to prove vaccination is through the ServiceWA app. If you do not have this you will be required to show a photo ID alongside your vaccination certificate, so please ensure if you are not set up through service WA to have your photo ID ready too.

When you arrive at the stadium, the entrances will comprise of two stages.

Stage One
Scan your QR code and vaccination check via the ServiceWA app.

Stage Two
Scan your ticket at the gate to enter the ground.

To reduce wait times upon entry, fans can also limit their bags where possible and download their ticket in advance and have it ready to show to event staff.

Make sure you also scan the QR code to check into the area you are seated once you have entered the ground. Fans are also encouraged to practice good hygiene, with hand sanitiser stations located throughout the venue, while maintaining physical distancing where possible.

Please also note Optus Stadium is classified as an indoor venue meaning:
Face masks must be worn while present at a major stadium at all times including while seated, subject to the usual exemptions.
Food/drinks must also only be consumed whilst seated if at a seated service venue, this includes ordering at a counter/bar but must be consumed whilst seated.
