Len Hall Anzac Tribute
The Len Hall Tribute Game is named in honour of Western Australia’s last Gallipoli veteran Len Hall, a member of the 10th Light Horse Regiment. Len was born in Sydney in 1897 and died in Perth in 1999, aged 101.
The very first Len Hall Tribute Game was played in 1996, and tonight will mark the 25th time we have commemorated the Anzac Spirit.

Observance Ceremony
The Anzac Observance Ceremony will commence at 5.29pm, after the players have entered the ground, with the reciting of the Ode and playing of the Last Post.

Reciting the Ode
With the 2022 Len Hall Tribute Game honouring him, the reciting of the Ode will be spoken by 103-year-old WW2 veteran and President of the Ex P.O.W. Association of WA Arthur Leggett.
Arthur is one of WA’s last surviving WW2 veterans, Leggett spent four years as a prisoner of war in Germany and had to work on a coal mine in North Poland. You can read more about his story here.
