Four Fremantle players have earned AFLCA Coaches Votes following Fremantle’s win over Port Adelaide on Sunday evening at Optus Stadium.

Rory Lobb and Sean Darcy shared honours as the highest vote-getters with nine each, both having a huge impact across the midfield and forward line for Freo.

Kicking a career-high five goals, Lobb was instrumental in setting up Freo’s 40-point lead prior to the final term, kicking his five goals across just two quarters.

Lobb took six marks for the match and was involved of eight of Fremantle’s scores as well as assisting Darcy in the ruck with his 13 hit outs.

Darcy dominated in the middle with his 38 hit outs, making it the third week in a row the ruckman has had 30+ hit outs in a match.

In addition, Darcy had 21 disposals, nine score involvements and a game-high nine clearances. He also led the AFL with seven score launches for round 16. The ruckman ranks first overall for average score launches per game (for players with eight or more appearances this season), with an average of 3.8 per game.

James Aish was arguably the most influential player on the ground in the first half, gathering 22 or his 29 disposals before the main break and kicking two goals.

Earning three votes, Aish rounded out his day with eight marks, five intercepts and three clearances, spending the game mostly between the arcs.

Jordan Clark continued his impressive season in purple with a career-high 29 disposals, seven inside 50’s and four intercept marks.

Clark was the most efficient player on the ground to have more than 25 disposals, going at 82.8% and earned three votes to round out the voting for Freo.
