Wingman Nathan O'Driscoll is set for minutes in the WAFL as he makes his long awaited return from a foot injury.

The second-year player last played for Fremantle in round eight against North Melbourne and is set to run out for Peel against Subiaco this Saturday at Lane Group Stadium.

Speaking on 7NEWS, Longmuir added that Blake Acres and Heath Chapman would have to earn their places at the selection table if they are to play against Sydney on Saturday night.

“They’re likely to come back and play footy at different levels,” Longmuir said when asked about O’Driscoll, Acres and Chapman.

“Driz has missed nine weeks, I think it is, with that foot injury, so he’ll play minutes at Peel.

“As for (Acres and Chapman), we’ll have to work it out through selection.

“The last couple of weeks has been really pleasing, we’ve had a lot of players play their roles so it’s going to be a squeeze at selection this week.”
