Hayden Young has been awarded a well-deserved 10 coaches' votes for his outstanding efforts in Fremantle's draw against Richmond at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.

The 21-year-old had 31 disposals, 10 intercepts and 14 marks in a career-best performance since being drafted at no.7 in 2019.

It is the first time Young has been awarded the maximum 10 votes in a game.

Both Justin Longmuir and Damien Hardwick thought Young was the best on ground, with Longmuir praising the talented half-back post-game.

"He is just such a mature operator week to week and then during the week he is a real pro,” Longmuir told SEN.

“He’s going to be a great football player for us for years to come."

Jordan Clark polled for the third time in four weeks with one vote on the back of his 24 disposals.

Despite not earning a vote, Andrew Brayshaw remains in third with 64 votes, behind Clayton Oliver (76 votes) and Lachie Neale (65 votes).
