Top draftee Madi Scanlon will wear the no.6 at Fremantle.

Fremantle’s jumper numbers for Season 7 of the NAB AFL Women’s competition have been confirmed.

The start of the season is rapidly approaching, with Fremantle to take on Brisbane on 28 August at the Gabba. Freo’s first home game will be against Geelong the following week at Fremantle Oval on Saturday September 3.

All returning players have opted to keep their numbers while there will be a new number for Fremantle’s seven potential debutants.

Top draft pick Madi Scanlon will wear the no.6 previously worn by Sabreena Duffy for 25 games.

Recruited from Adelaide, Nikki Gore will take on the no.7 previously worn by fellow midfielder Jasmin Stewart and Amy Lavell.

Draftees Tahlia Read will wear the no.16, Tara Stribley the no.20, Megan Kauffman the no.25 and Amy Mulholland the no.33.

Irish signing Orlagh Lally will wear the no.27, who on Sunday was a part of Meath’s back-to-back All-Ireland championship win in front of 46,440 fans at Croke Park.
