Rory Lobb, Matt Taberner and Griffin Logue are all a test to be available for this week’s Elimination Final clash with the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night at Optus Stadium.

Executive General Manager of Football Peter Bell said both Taberner and Lobb will need to get through main training on Wednesday before a decision is made on their return to play.

“Taberner is progressing from his calf injury really well, he had a great session on Saturday,” Bell said.

“He’ll do some more training on Wednesday before a decision is made on his availability.

“Rory is a bit the same, he’ll do full contact training on Wednesday and we’re expecting him to be available.”

After missing Fremantle’s round 23 clash with GWS due to an adductor issue, Bell said he was confident Griffin Logue would also be available ahead of Saturday.

“He’s got a minor adductor issue going on, he’s another one that will train on Wednesday and we’re really confident that he’ll be available,” Bell said.

Following a strong year of availability on the field, Bell also acknowledged the work put in by the Fremantle players, high performance and medical staff for their efforts throughout the season.

“It’s been some great work from the players first of all, but also our high performance and medical team,” Bell said.

“As I’ve just gone through, we’ve got really good availability right now which is exciting for the Club and that’s the result of a stack of hard work from a lot of people, so I just wanted to acknowledge that.”
