The ‘Purple Play Off’ will see one lucky member or supporter in the crowd walk away with a fantastic prize if they are crowned the best dressed!
The competition is designed to spread the purple haze passion by encouraging members and supporters to dress up and turn Subiaco Oval into a sea of purple for the annual Starlight Purple Haze Game.
Launched in 2003, the Starlight Purple Haze game has raised more than $150,000 to date for Starlight and every year members, supporters and players alike don Fremantle and Starlight’s common colour purple! As in previous years, Fremantle will wear their all purple playing strip for the Starlight Purple Haze Game and members and supporters are encouraged to do likewise to go in the running for some great prizes!
To be eligible to enter – you have to wear PURPLE! Members and supporters wishing to enter must register with club sponsor 92.9 – Perth’s Hit Music Station at gate 8 before the 5.40pm bouncedown on 29 March.
The road runners will select finalists from those who register before bouncedown and to take part in the ‘Purple Play Off’ which will be hosted by 92.9’s Wippa on ground at half time. The winner will be the one who attracts the loudest applause from the crowd as they are introduced. The winner will walk away with an LG portable DVD player and LG 4MG touchscreen MP3 Player.
