The AFL Tribunal have upheld Jaeger O'Meara's one-match suspension following a hearing on Wednesday evening.

The midfielder was charged with Rough Conduct (first offence) for his tackle on Charlie Spargo in the third quarter of Walyalup's clash with Narrm on Saturday at the MCG.

The incident was graded as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact and was sanctioned with a one-match suspension.

The Club unsuccessfully argued that the incident was Low Impact, which would have carried a $2000 fine if successful.

It means O'Meara will miss Fremantle's round 13 clash with Richmond on Saturday 10 June at Optus Stadium.
