Hayden Young will miss this Saturday’s clash against Collingwood due to a minor ankle injury.

The defender experienced soreness following Fremantle’s clash with Carlton in round 17, and scans have confirmed the injury.

Young’s timeline to return is between one to three weeks, which the Club will monitor closely.

“It’s a low-grade ankle injury,” said High Performance Manager Phil Merriman.

“We need to make sure Hayden hits his markers over the next week or two.

“It’s an open-ended return to play as we will be guided by how his ankle reacts from day to day.”
